Text4baby

Use your cell phone to receive text messages to help you before and after baby arrives. Text BABY (or BEBE for Spanish) to 511411, or go to text4baby.org to sign up for this free service from the National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition.

Due date calculator

“When is your baby due?” or “What’s your due date?” are questions almost everyone asks as soon as they know you’re pregnant. Your doctor or midwife will give you an estimated due date. But it’s important to know that any day within two weeks, before or after your due date, is considered normal. Calculate your due date.

Naming your baby

When it comes to naming your baby, the options are endless. They range from family names that have been passed along for generations to places of interest to popular characters in the worlds of sports and entertainment. Today, the general rule is “anything goes.”

We suggest making an early list of favorite names and, over the long months of pregnancy, narrow them down to a few favorites. Nonetheless, there’s always the chance of a last-minute name change once you see your little one for the first time.

There are many naming resources available online. Our favorite is babynamewizard!
